A hay wad is packaged hay from a Silo. The developer confirms that it can contain a needle, so a packaged product is not automatically safe to sell without scanning.

How to use it: Follow the wad from Silo output through every belt and arm transfer. Check that its route includes scanning before joining the final selling line.

Checks and decisions

What to check: The developer says a needle sold inside a hay product goes back to the pile. If a Silo still lists a waiting needle, investigate its output rather than assuming the needle has already returned.
